About AITP

Welcome from the Jackson Chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals! Located in Jackson, Mississippi, our chapter is one of the oldest chapters of AITP (formerly Data Processing Management Association). Our membership represents a wide variety of technical backgrounds, experiences and environments. Take a few moments to review our meetings/events schedule and see the topics presented at our meetings. We are sure you will find we have many opportunities for the IT professional. In addition to professional information provided through AITP, you will find that the Jackson Chapter affords one an excellent arena for networking with fellow IT professionals. The camaraderie of membership in AITP is perhaps our best-kept secret! .

When do you meet? Regular luncheon meetings of the Jackson Chapter are held the third Tuesday of every month except December and January when we have our Awards Banquet.  Lunch begins at 11:30 am and the program is from 12:00 -1:00 pm.  We have been trying to mix it up a bit this year by having meetings on other days of the week and some evening meetings.

Where do you meet? Meetings are usually held at the Capital Club in the Capital Towers building (125 South Congress Street) in downtown Jackson; however, please make note of location.  Meetings include a meal and a speaker or program of current interest in the information processing field.

How much is the meeting? AITP Members: $15.00 Non-members and guests:  $25.00
